Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced software engineer to join our amazing team working on our next gen fintech products in Europe. • In developing solutions for real world, large scale problems in the context of financial services.
• Contributing to engineering efforts from planning and organization to execution and delivery to solve complex engineering problems in tools and infrastructure.
• In designing and deploying security and privacy services and infrastructure.
• Participation in maintaining the existing software(s), such as fixing bugs.
• Participates in research and development of cutting edge machine learning solutions.

• MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in an equivalent field.
• 3-5 years of robust backend software engineering experience, demonstrated by proficiency in one or more of the following languages/technologies: C++, Java, TypeScript, NestJS, SQL, and Microservices.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated expertise in data structures, algorithms, and designing architecture for large-scale distributed systems and seamless data/system integrations.
• Ability to speak and write in Italian and English fluently.
  

It's good to have, but not expected:
• Strong background in machine learning, including experience with popular ML frameworks, libraries, and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn) as well as a solid understanding of ML algorithms and model deployment for enhancing data and system integrations at scale.
• Comprehensive understanding of security and privacy engineering best practices, particularly as they pertain to safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring the utmost protection in data-driven systems and integrations.
