Business Development Manager

As our Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and partnerships that will help us grow. In this position you will work closely with our Business Development, Product and Marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that will expand the customer base. Additionally, you will establish and maintain relationships with our current and potential partners and clients, negotiate deals, and develop proposals and presentations to pitch to key stakeholders.

• Building and maintaining relationships: You will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as potential clients, partners, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization.
• Understanding client needs: You will be focusing on understanding the client's business objectives and needs, and developing strategies to meet those needs.
• Negotiating deals: You will negotiate contracts and deals with potential clients and partners to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship and a positive outcome for the organization.
• Creating proposals and presentations: You will create proposals and presentations to pitch to potential clients and partners, showcasing the company's products, services, and value propositions.
• Analyzing and reporting: You will analyze client data, track performance metrics, and report on progress to our executives to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends: It is important to stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to identify potential risks and opportunities for Salarify.

• BSc/BA degree in Business, Management or in an equivalent field (or equivalent demonstrable work experience; MA/MSc degree is an advantage. 
• 3 years of professional experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably in the financial industry.
• History of focusing on outcomes, putting the customer first, and owning initiatives.
• End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, and change management.
• Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and management.
• Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and has experience with CRM systems (Hubspot).
• Language proficiency in English and Hungarian.
